Founder & Principal Designer
From a young age, MELIKA EDALAT-NAMEEN was naturally drawn to creativity, design, and the way thoughtful spaces can shape how people live and feel. That early passion led her toward a career focused on interior and residential design, where creativity and technical precision work hand in hand.
She began her studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in the Foundations in Design program before continuing her education in British Columbia, where she gained stronger technical experience in hand drafting and architectural drawing. She later attended CATO while working in the industry, allowing her to combine education with hands-on experience.
Having worked alongside drafting and architecture firms, MELIKA EDALAT-NAMEEN developed a strong technical foundation and a deep appreciation for well-designed homes and functional living spaces. Her studio was created as a reflection of a more personal and creative approach to residential interiors — one rooted in thoughtful design, detail, and individuality.
The word “studio” was intentionally chosen to reflect a long-term vision that extends beyond interiors alone, with future aspirations in furniture and décor design, textiles, and other creative artistic mediums.
Today, her work focuses on creating homes that feel timeless, intentional, and deeply personal to the people living in them.
